Yesterday Cityscapes celebrated National Indoor Plant Week by handing out free plants in Boston’s Back Bay. At Cityscapes, we promote the benefits of indoor plants which create oxygen, clean the air and balance humidity levels. We also promote the amazing biophilic qualities of plants indoors, as bringing nature into the space can improve how we feel at a subconscious (and sometimes conscious) level.
Plants can reduce stress and make people want to stay in the space which has more natural elements, whether we realize it or not. Giving away plants to celebrate their benefits is one of the many ways we like to give back to the community and promote less stress and more happiness!
